Is dsc mendatory for 44ad?

i talked to with my CA, i said i will file my tax under 44AD. but he said digital signature and chartered accountant audit is must for 44AD filing. please confirm me if this is correct. my earning is more than 8% of gross receipt(20~30%) and earning is less than 2Cr
