Yes, CS is one of the most respected professions in the country right at this moment..A CS is one of the key management personnel in an organisation and has a range of functions to perform in an organisation. Some of the areas that concern a CS in an organisation are :

1. Corporate Governance

2. Compliance Management

3. Corporate Laws

4. Board and Shareholder meetings

5. IPOs,ADRs and GDRs

6. Capital Markets,Stock Exchanges

7. Mergers and Amalgamations

8. Insider tradings and takeovers

9. Direct and Indirect Taxes

10. Arbitration and reconciliation

11. Investor Awareness and Protection

There is a huge demand for CS professionals in the country right now and it will increase in the coming years as predicted by experts. A fresher can expect salaries ranging from Rs. 25000to even Rs.50000 just after passing CS.

So,considering all these,all I can say is that CS is more than enough to get a good job.
