Ya totally agree.......
Even many times I thought why our Govt keeping 3 statutory body when we are not giving enough credit to them.....
The proper oppurtunities must be given equally to all the professions, If we want to stop the wrong doing and want to see our nation as a deveoped one.

Its not a matter of comparing between ca and cs.
its just the Bill has opened good avenues for us and given us recognition which was really needed for a long time.Thats why there was lot of exuberance around regarding bill.
Hope the bill brings lot of opportunities, work, recognition for all professional out there.
Thanks & Regards

The bill has been presented for Companies.
CS has been benifited. More responsibility has been assigned to CS.
But no where it can be said that it has been done at the cost of degrading the CA.
Both have important roles to play.
If I take Company as a Parental Home, CS can be deemed as a local member and due to his stay at home, he has to looksafter the inhouse activity minutely whereas CA can be deemed as a outstationed member who is also having similar inclination with the Parental Home and is looking after the external activities which are also equally important. The only thing is that certain tasks have been rigidly defined for the doers whereas remaining tasks can be performed by any of them.
The implication of new provisions are more important for discussion.

By the way my CA friends, where do you think CS has been given more favour it is only the responsibilities of CS have been specified. Secretarial Audit has been introduced, certifcation of annual return was already there. Actually the monopoly regime has gone. Let's wait in coming years many more avenues will eb opened for CS & CWAs in tax laws as well.
