Is Classes required-please advice

Can Direct tax and Indirect tax be done by self or am i required to join classes for it. Please advice...........

Many suggested me to go for coaching for DT............

For indirect tax no need of any classes. Direct Tax too can be managed on your own...

Dear Deepak

First of all, best wishes for your exams! To be frank, classes are not required for any subject..I am doing all by self study (though my financial inability is the reason).. i find it far better than sitting in classes like a herd of sheeps or goats without knowing wat to do...Go for classes only if required! USe the scanner, suggested answers to great effect..Although the inst material is pathetic, there is no other go but to follow the same! (In fact FINAL new syllabus, Corporate law book is pathetic esp the answers given for illustrations in FEMA chapter;; simply pathetic)

i disagree with all.

classes always serve as an edge over others. it saves tremendous amount of effort. but do classes only from reputed ones. do them if time n money is not a constraint. it is not mandatory whatsoever.

Even if you go for classes, you have to brush the provisions in order to be in effective touch. Better follow the book of the author whom u followed for your PE-2/PCC.There are many ppl from tier II & tier III cities who clear without attending classes! There are also ppl from tier I cities who attend all classes and struggle in exam..Utlimately it is your effort and ability which is goin to pay u !
