18 October 2009Hi Friends.I am a Ca Final n CS final student. I have observed that closely held Private Companies in general do not declare any dividend in spite of huge profit earned by the Co.
I want to know whether Corporate Dividend distribution tax is applicable to such closely held Pvt. Companies?

Maruthi is right...CDT is applicable to all companies.....Public as well as private
