Hi friends ....

i am really confused abt my career..

presently i am appearing for ca final.

but confused whether i will get good job ...

is anything else can be done 2 improve job prospects...

pls.. please help......

yeah CA is more than enough... in case u r plannnin for a job and not practiseee ... then trainin from big 4 is advisable

Look it depends on you.If you are agood CA then both for job & practise its enough.BUT it also depends on your choice.IF you want to go abroad then after ca you should opt for cpa/cma/cica etc.If you want to practise then disa/cisa is good courses.

Hi, I a also a student of CA Final and i was also confused abt my career and then i deceded to do CS/MBA(Finance) after CA. I think this is the better choice but if u want to go abroad then CPA is also an good option. But 'kuch bhi ho mein to itna hi kahunga ki jo bhi karo kuch bada soch kar karo'.

Good Batsman, Good Fielder, Good Bowler, Good Leader... All are very Important for a Cricket Team but a All Rounder is always preferable with a bit Better Command on one of the All.
So My Friend, CA is enough to get a good job but you can get a more better job if you a CA with other professional degree like CS, CWA or MBA etc.

Hi It is always better to have more weapons in our side. It's not correct to say that CA is enough. If we want to reach the pinnacle, we should equip with more powers. So, it is beneficial to have other professional qualifications like, CWA, CS, CFA etc., Cheers! Sridhar

Dear Arun, Your concern about securing immediate employment is understandable. The qualification tag - be it anything- is like Visa - but the knowledge one exhibits is the ultimate deciding factor. The best part about CA course is that you are developed to become a WHOLE person - very matured in approach with a overall knowledge of enterprenural function. It is very important to acquire the knowledge of latest tools - computer applications- to keep you equiped to meet the competition. Concentrate & Focuss on C.A syllabus throughly not merely for passing examination,But learn subject of practical importance Finance,Operation Reserch,Statastic,& Advanced Accountancy very helpful for corporate strategies formation.Great Scope off applicabilities as Indian firm realised the Importance of Real Professionalism.& take training through small firm it will give You complete job responsibilities.

Hai friend , i think CA alone cant do much in this competitive world , you need to have additional qualification in the form of CIMA or CISA or ICWAI or MBA. Iam Presently doing CA Final and CIMA . All the best for your future .

More than enough frndz..But if u have any other degree it will be like u will one extra degree..Thats it...Sometime u may get some advantge..but CA is enough in all aspects..

Today computer knowledge is more important, apart from any degree or profession. even u want to practice or a job, my suggestion is to u, have some short term course in computer, like SAP, Oracle, etc.,

But concentrate more on CA,
