U can pusue CFA along with CA according to latest ruling by Supreme court..

you can go for CFA besides CA, ICAI has already announced it.

ofcourse , the american cfa has more leverage . albeit, indian cfa is recognised all over but north -america and further u can go for CIIA , switzerland which is always taken in great regard .
but, i reckon that america is the mother of modern finance and if u have money and time go for american version and on the other hand indian cfa is also a good option if u intend to be in country itself.
whatever u go for, eventually, ur growth will depend upon ur own knowledge rather than the papers.
