Is BPO a good option for a CA? Please reply its very urgent.

Doing BPO job is absolute wastage of knowledge by a CA. These are very much suitable for Bachellor degree holders and not for Professionals like CAs, CWAs and CS.

You need not complete ur CA to join a BPO, rather u might have stopped ur studies at B.Com level and might have joined any BPO or KPO.

Its wasteful to do a job in BPO. if u have urgency then join it and keep searching for another job at the same time. BPO are generally having night shifts and if u see urself after 2 - 3 years u will find that u are not able to live ur social life.

I do not know why the people are against for BPO industry what i believe that it all depends on your profile... i take my example only i am handelling accounts my job is to

review the PL & BS before it gets to CFO of the company,

my job is to calculate capital requirment of the company and reporting the same to FSA,

i am into consolidating the books for Holding & 5 subsidiaries of my company,

I calculate the VAT credits and do the return filling on quarterly basis

i am not doing any kind of night shifts my timings are from 11am to 8 pm which is fine

.............so it all depends what kind of profile you are working in.
