Hello,
CPT in two month is very much possible. But to ensure success with good knowledge I would advise you to increase your study hour.
Kindly observe the points below:
1. Prepare a proper study plan and study according to the same.
2. Prepare a good revision schedule and follow the same strictly.
3. Do not change the books and notes quickly. Stick to the notes and books
4. Also refer ICAI study for reference purpose.
5. Discuss the topics with your friend for better grip.
6. In CA scanner plays an important role. So fully complete your scanner.
7. During study notes the imp topic or make short notes. Refer them later during revision.
8. Prepare short notes for frequently asked questions and revise them properly.
All the Best

Hi,
I think you should lay stress n the study matter that has been provided to you and then you should contact people who have already passed CPT, you should take some guidance from them. I think this will help you in a better way.
You can also get a book of sample papers sold by icai itself.....along with practicing CPT Model test papers for good result in the exam. Practice those test papers with examination conditions.
Never waste your time and have a discussion with your friends regarding a specific topic for a better grip.
For CPT notes use search facility of caclub.
Find below some CPT tips by Mr. Anoop:
Here are some tips for u, which was helpful to u for the preparation of CPT Exam.
1) IF ur not from Maths background, then plz keep it in ur mind that u have to get passing marks out of 150.
2) Before Starting revision any chapter of accounts, first study whole theory of that chapter and then only solve 1 or two questions from examples. But solve Maximum questions from EXERCISE.
3) Prepare Mercantile Law Very well, because it was the only scoring subject after accounts. Contract Act is important one.
4)In economics 1st complete Macro economics then go for micro economics. Macro Economics aslo very scoring.
5) IN Quantitative Aptitude, Differentiation and integration, Correlation and regression and theoritical distribution is important one.
6) And make the Strategy to solve M. LAW paper 1st in examination, because u will get more time to solve accounts.
7) PLZ WORK hard in studies, because there is no Short cuts for Success. But u can do ur work Systematically, Which will help u 2 go to the path of Success.
All the Best

Hey , you need not do anything except going through the institute's study material throughly, and practicing accounts and maths extensively!!! One more thing try to solve all the problems given in the model papers which you got from the institute, as most questions are based on those model papers only!!! Hope it'll be more than sufficient for you.
two moths are more than enough to clear CPT with distinction!!! as I did......... ;-)
All the best buddy!!!

want to add here that dnt follow model papers strictly coz it contains too much questions and some with wrong answers also so try to solve as much as possible but after completion of syllabus. After solving model papers dnt forget to take a thorough revision of whole syllabus.
WISH U LUCK!!

Hi vivek!!
You will definitely succeed if you follow the below points:
1. Be confident and believe in yourself that you will succeed.
2.Be thorough on the basics
3.While preparing, try to cover 3 subjects a day, never sit with a single subject for a day because it will bring down the efficient grasping.
4.Practice the previous question papers on a regular basis for speed.
5.Dont worry about others who have already started preparing or finished preparation. just concentrate on yourself and your goals.
6.Last but not the least, do refer the scanner without fail and frame your study chapters accordingly.
All the best!!!!
