How do I get my Apple iPod Shuffle to sync with iTunes on WINDOWS XP?

As far as i can recall from my experience
When i connected the ipod to my pc ,there there was a sync option in itunes itself . . didn't use any specific software for that.
Try a different version of itunes (older) ,maybe that could work for you.

Amar........I installed itunes 8.1 ........but it does not show "SYNC. " option at all........
Rest everything is there........
Is it means that my ipod is damaged .............

This is what I found written in the apple discussion forum ,when i googled the problem you are facing.
The older version can be downloaded from " https://www.oldapps.com/itunes.php " .
2. I also found a helpful article which claims to make your ipod shuffle sync with Windows media Player 11. Check it out.
Better try the first one :)

8.0.2.20 is not working.............needs higher than 8.1 version.............

PC requirements
- PC with USB 2.0 port
- Windows Vista or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 3 or later
- iTunes 9 or later

Looks like you have XP Service pack 2 . . .maybe that's the problem.
