Yes, you can...
To pass Group-II of Intermediate examination excluding Paper No. 8 of Group –II, you need to pass Unit 10 - i.e. Paper 5, 6 and 7 of Intermediate examination-New Syllabus.

Iam cleared IPCC Group 1 in old syllabus. May 2019 is last attempt in old syllabus. If I change group 2 into new syllabus what is the procedure? If I want to write group II only in new scheme? Old scheme contain only 3 papers in group II but in new one includes 4 papers. So, need to write all the 4 papers in new scheme? Please detail.

If I change group 2 into new syllabus what is the procedure? Not sure, but i think it shall be done online via self service portal. For link, visit ICAI website and click on e-services section.

No, you are not required to write the 4th paper in new scheme G-II, i.e. Financial Management & Economics for Finance. If you shift to new scheme, then instead of the complete G-II, you need to appear for Unit-10, which contains Paper 5, 6, and 7 of new scheme, i.e. Advanced Accounting, Auditing and Assurance and Enterprise Information Systems & Strategic Management respectively. can anyone help I never clear any group yet till may 2019 ...I m from old scheme what should I do ? is compulsory to convert into new scheme ? | ![]() |
As said earlier, last attempt is in May-2020 for old IPC course, unless extended further.
So, you have two attempts in your hands to complete it.
After all the available attempts gets exhausted, then it will be compulsory to convert into new scheme. Till then it is discretionary.
Now, its up to you to decide whether to convert into new course straightaway or go ahead with the old scheme. Decide as per your comfort level and situation.
