i will give 1st group of ipcc in may 2011 want some tips for studies and tricks to clear ipcc exam .... and also want to know how the examiner deal with answer sheet of student ......?
and is there any negative marking in ipcc exam ?

step marking for practical papers so try to solve maximum , even clear instruction to give marks for correct steps with wrong amount.

check past papers for paper pattern for ex. accounts- 12 sub part of 1 question -2 marks each and 4 or 6 sub part of q.no. 2-4marks each-very easy and scoring try to solve them 1st.

Refer ICAI website, student column, board of studies column, then suggested answers. So u r expected to write your answers as given in them. Then chances are more to get good scoring.

CA is a easy course....if u prepare properly....
DOs-
1.Pasitive thinking
2.Enjoy Studies
3.Faith in yourself,ur teacher,ur CA principal, ur books and GOD.
4.Relax- Regain energy levels and excellence.
5.Health- take care of it.
6. Give rest to ur mobile and other diversions.
7. I can do approach.
8.practice-work out sums..try to get a good handwriting.
9.Start doing what is necessary, then wat is possible, suddenly u r doing the impossible.
10. your career- passing exam with good marks and rank, represents ur own career growth.
Donts-
1. Do not postpone anything.
2. Do not watse time.
3. Do not approach ur studies with a negative bent of mind.
4. Do not pollute ur mind and jump to conclusions.
5. Do not become complacent out of ur succes in the CPT exam.
6.Do not have more than 1 reference book.
About Subjects and other tips..
Learn everything..there is nothing less important and more important in CA exams.
Try to complete as early as possible.
Wen it comes to theory subject , mix it with practical subjects so that u dont feel bored.
Be thorough with case laws and latest amendments.
Few questions generally asked
Do i have to follow 2 reference books?
NO.believe in one book and follow it.
How many times do i have to revise before exams?
Atleast once. But u ll be in a better position if u do it 3 times.
How many hours do i study a day?
Purely depends on ur capability. But at this age studying 16 hours a day is possible and is not wrong.

Just keep studying. in this competitive world u need to learn a lot and win it...so Jus keep studyin.

to whom r u going to give the 1st group? what do u mean by tricks.. is it a magic or a play. u dont ve any short cut or tricks to pass. and is the answer paper a toy for the examiner to deal with it. did u buy the prospectus first. if so read it. just read the books properly and write what all u know about question asked in exam. and try writting both groups in IPCC, u got nearly a year for preparation. take your studies and exams seriously. its 100 times advanced than CPT.

just cover evry chapter and be thorough wiht everything...... dont give gap of many days between a subject...study continuously...
dnt worry no negative marking , but negative impression is possible in the eyes of examiner. so dont attempt wrong questions. especially in the beginning.

i make single entry and receipt payment balance sheet ... but the sheets are not tally... how much step mark i get ... the question are 16+10=26marks... plzz reply
