It is important to learn the Accounting Standards and stick to the Study Material's language as far as possible.
Ethics also requires attention, give due importance to it.
Besides the above pointers, please keep in mind how you frame and write your answer is very important.
Books: We suggest you use Asim Trivedi for Standards as well as Ethics and Practice Manual for the rest of the portion.

ICAI study material is the best book for audit..Using module language will definitely help u to get a good score..Moreover audit paper is case study based ..No matter whichever book u refer , a good presence of mind in those 3 exam hrs is a must to score in this subject

Refer Vikas Oswal Material and understand the concept and refer questions there given at the chapter end. I feel it is enough to score 55+
