I'm an IPCC student preparing for group 1 and will have my exam in november. I'm preparing on a self-study basis. I know, it's late to ask but, please guide me, should I buy private books or the study material provided by ICAI is sufficient? Also, I couldn't study so much as I should have till now, due to some personal reasons. So you can say that my preparation is very poor till now. Can I still recover somehow? Please guide me. |

I am also going to appear in november ipcc group 1 and i am also study in self study basis. The materials provided by icai is more than enough. First of all, believe yourself. you have more time to come back. lets go ahead.

Agree with all, still you have more than 4 months, and it is more than enough. Start from now.
Best wishes.

its gud that u hv started taking tensn much before exams. And since your preparation is nt gud yet..u shud go for other books as they are easy to understand. It wiil save ur time. Try to understand the concept from any source u can...(study material, other books, friends, teachers or from anywhere).
Don't forget to look at suggested answers and RTP's these help a lot in getting u d idea of how to answer any question. And in the exam hall try to collect as many marks as u can..if u do not know d whole answer of any ques bt know sumthing abt it den pls write as it will fetch u sum marks and u shud knw even 1 mark is imp.
I would advise u to first make ur plan that how u r going to study in these 4 months. Make ur short and long term targets and try to achieve dem. Be +ve in ur attempt. It is much important forget dat u hv wasted so much time and just look forward positively.
And if u face any problem sumwhr do ask...
ALL THE BEST
