First, it would make sense to realize that a subjective and explanatory subject like Audit doe not have many isolated topics to learn or revise from the exam perspective.
If one delves deep into the subject, it can be observed that the topics are linked in some or the other way. From the topic of the Basic Principles Governing Audit to the Inherent Limitations of Audit; from Auditing Standards to the topic of difference between Error and Fraud - everything is more or less linked and related.
To truly learn anything, your Brain needs to see the meanings and relations behind and between the different elements of any particular agenda. It is then that we actually register and retain something for a long time.
So you would be in a much better and productive situation, if you focussed on how to go about preparing in a way that increases your probability of scoring well. On one hand ICAI is being generous enough to provide us a pool of topic-wise questions and their corresponding answers. On the other hand, we tend to adopt a selective approach even towards the same resource provided, the RTP. The answers in the RTP are often lengthy and extracted directly from the study material itself which makes it really monotonous to revise or learn. But, we should try to find ways to reflect upon those qustions and their obvious answers.
Just find your way. But prepare meaningfully and fully. Your preparation would hold negligible meaning if you don't go into the full-preparation mode. Forget about time constraints. Do as much as you can. We overthink about our exam resources, the time we have, the passing percentage, the tutors and their recommendations. Just do the thing that matters the most.
