10 November 2010Is there any way (other than direct investment in JV/ WOS) by which an unlisted Indian company/ private company can make investments outside India? If yes, please provide us with the detailed procedures.

The Private Limited Company shall be allowed to invest outside India upto 400% of its net worth.
They shall need to form ODI with CA Certificate and complete annexures to AD within 30 days of remmitance and they shall get UIN from RBI after that.
They also need to file Statement of Asset & Liabilities in a Form notified recently to AD by 15th July every year.
