Can a Patnership firm or sole properitory concern invest in the company shares in the name of firm or concern.

Yes, 100%. Without any restriction they can invet on its own name.

Partnership if reg then can take shares (not sure) will revert you back soon with surety
Prop can not because it dont have legal status. It works by a person. So person can apply
