what is the meaning of shares issued on cum-right basis? i guess it means shares eventhough purchased in the current year shall be entitled to get the dividnd which will be announced for the previous year? m i correct??!!?

if you have heard anything about right shares then cum-right shares refer to these shares only. it means the shares purchased carry the right to purchase additional shares in case of additional issue of shares.
