A creeper can climb high by clinging onto a tall tree, but to maintain its existence, to live, it must depend on the nutrition, life force it gets draws from deep within the earth. A tree can merely support the creeper, but cannot keep it alive. Parasitic flora like Cuscuta (Dodder) cannot be taken as an example, or do not dictate the rule in this particular context.

We can see the expanse of a person’s glory and opulence on the outside. And to gauge this greatness, we use the metrics of his/her means, or his/her associates.

But really, this is not the complete truth.

The essential elements needed for success are actually embedded deep within us. Hardworking, tactful and genuinely amiable people are capable of generating wealth. People who lack these traits are not capable of even maintaining their inherited wealth.

As they lack these vital qualities inside, on the outside they remain impoverished.

Eminent people must earn their place in this world, its not bestowed upon them by the blessing of a God or a Goddess. Austereness, generosity and virtue make a man strong, but it is necessary that this strength of character should be used for the welfare of others.

Assets if they cannot serve altruistic aims become an onerous burden.

Self-analysis is beneficial only when it can diffuse good qualities in the surrounding atmosphere as a sandalwood piece diffuses fragrance anywhere it’s placed.
