How to written off the dead stock from Tally?
I am not sure but if i remember correctly, i had seen in one case that dead stock was transferred to an another account....
Evaluate your situation and see if you can transfer it to some other head for e.g. in closing stock etc..
Normal loss a/c Dr.
to Stock
(On charging the losses)
Clear if I am wrong.....
