Introduction of a practicing company secretary in a llp

My query is :-

There is a LLP in which there are two partners, its a legal firm advancing legal services.

Now can a Practicing Company Secretary work independently in its own capacity (retaining COP) and sign in its own name after becoming a partner of that LLP?
