My friend (Individual, Resident, Male) have received "Intimation u/s 245" for AY 2012-13 (ITR is not filed for this year) for adjustment against refund of AY 2017-18 from CPC Bengaluru. How shall i respond to this?
1) AY 2012-13 : a) ITR not yet filed. How can i file ITR as online its not allowing?
b) for AY 2012-13 employer has correctly dedcuted TDS.
2) AY 2017-18 : ITR filed within due date and refund claimed which is also received in his account
Please help how shall i respond for this as the time limit is only 30 days and now 20 days are only remaining
