intimation u/s 143(1)

one of my customer received intimation u/s 143(1) and he has paid the amount by himself by filling up the challan , thru cheque in corporation bank.. now the amount is withdrawn from his account but the banker said he will not receive any challan.. now my question is whether the bank will provide tax paid receipt(challan) after payment of tax u/s 143(1) intimation??... reply me at the earliest friends....
