Please help me in a situation
we are from andhra pradesh. and entered into agreement for purchase of some materials from a dealer in andhra pradesh. now he is purchasing goods from tamilnadu sending the goods directly from tamilnadu to our premises.
is this Inter state sale as per CST Act
what are the forms to be issued & by whom?

If there is direct billing form other state to you.
it will be interstate sales. They will charge 2 % tax only.
You have to issue form C.
