Interim dividend is delared for current year out of profits of current year by Board of director between two AGM .
SO no question arises
"can we declare interim dividend for previous year out of profits of current year"

Firstly Did u know the meaning of Interim Dividend, It is that part of Dividend which is declared B/w two AGM , n it is declared out of current year profit so no question arises .. in tht case

Yes interim dividend is for current year and to be declared out of current years profit
