I would like to know about the judgement/proceeding going on with regards to Interest to be paid for late filing of TDS u/s 234E. Would like to know what is it all about.

late fees at the rate of 200 per day is payable under section 234e and interest at the rate of 1.5% per month is being charged for the period of default for late filing. there have been few cases with regard to 234e but we are still waiting for any judgement. i havent heard of any case regarding interest on late fee so unable to provide this info.
