Interest u/s 234B senior citizen
Assessee is a senior citizen filed ROI with salary and other source income. Assessment completed u/s 143(3) with addition in other source income. Will the assessee be liable to pay 234B on assessed tax? If yes or no, under which provision. Please state relevat provision of the Act.

Yes, because the tax liability assessed u/s. 143(3) with interest if any, is not covered u/s. 207 of IT act.
