Dear sir
my client paid differntial GST by making debit in September 2021 GST Return. my doubt is whether we have to pay interest on that Differential GST amount.
is there any circular or notification regarding that..

Since liability was short paid interest will be levied as per the provisions of the act. No circular or notification required. However there are instances where debit notes due to subsequent changes in contract. In these cases in my opinion interest will not be required to be paid.
