Insurance Commission

Tax queries 489 views 1 replies

CA. SANAT PYNE has replied following in response to a query (Link = /experts/iincome-tax-494140.asp)

"If your commission earning is more than rupees sixty thousand a year, then you will have to maintain books of account and proof of expenditure. No claim for the premia payment will be allowed if the customer has claimed the same as his own expenditure."

My Question is :-

Which provision is there that a Commission agent has to maintain books of accounts if his yearly commission exceeds 60,000/- ??
