Dear Sir/Mam
Our employer providing health coverage every year and 90% of premium they are paying from their pocket and rest 10% deducting from our salary.
Shall we claim that 10% deducted as tax exemption under 80D. Do we need to submit any documents.
please help

80D deduction shall be available when premium receipts is in your name, the actual amount you paid shall get deduction upto 25000 rupees

If you have the premium receipts, u can claim deduction under 80D subject yo ceiling limit of 25k or 30k as the case may be.

Okay sir, but employer will provide only health insuarance card on my name as it is GMC policy. shall i use it sir as proof

You can claim deduction but u should have any documentary proof regarding the amount of premium and the same has been borne by you.
