Institute Material Vs. Reference Books

Hi,

I am preparing for IPCC Nov exam. I am doing self study through Institute materials.

I hv completed reading (to understand the concepts) around 90 %. I am able to understand 95%.

In that case do I need to refer other reference books. Or will it be sufficient if I revise using the Scanners/Suggested Answers/Compiler.Please suggest me. Right now I have only institute material with me.

Thanks in advance.

refer to my articles on pcc..................u might find them useful....

Thanks Swapnil. Your article is a very good  guidance for freshers who are enrolling into CA course.

hi rangaram

Its good that u r studying from institute material. Most of students find difficult to understand the language of material.

U can read other references books also. But in exam time as much as possible refer only 1 book it is good for u.

Refer Scanners/compilations it will be useful to u

One of the problem I found in institute material is 'lot of printing mistakes (A/cs')

acc M P Vijaykumar/ Tulsian

law Munish bhandari /G K kapoor

Costing Saxena and Vashist /Saravana Prasath

Tax Singhania/ T N Manohar

these are the above books are very famous

what u have done is already suffiecient

now u just need to test yourself by tring exams questions from scanners

You are right in doing at present but at exams you will not be able to read modules so better to keep Ref book ready specially for exams.
