There is no age for education.

You are young as long as you have willingness to learn.

You are old if you are satisfied with what you have learnt.

SD Bala is a role model .... and a great achievement .

Nice post ... Keep posting.

Inquisitiveness should never be allowed to rest at ease.

My story is also some what similar to the above qualified senior CAs. At the age of 37 when i was working in a private co, I gave my CPT and managed to clear in 1st attempt itself that too without classes or any definate study leaves. Overhelmed by the success, I was encouraged by my family and friends to go ahead and give IPCC. But since I was on regular job, I could not clear the exams in 1st attempt. But I did continue and finally was successful without coaching only by self study. Now I will be appearing for finals in Nov.14 I dont know what is instore for me in future but I am determined to clear CA final exams without coaching.

Mr. Suman, it is inspiring to read your story. I am also a CMA qualified and started CA about 20 years back and finished Inter but appeared for Finals 2 times without adequate preparation and stopped after that. But there is a desire to complete the finals. I am settled outside India and have a plan to complete the Finals some day.

My ag is 42. I want to do CA after my graduation but due to family problems i got married and now again i want to fulfill my dream. But at this age if i start studying may be it will take more 6-7 years to complete so at the age of 50 will it be useful for my career. Is my decision is right or wrong. Please guide me.

Dear Vivek Sir, many thanks for sharing such inspiring story. I am 45 and half, registered for CA intermediate in November 2023. I am a Lecturer in Mathematics. I don't have any experience in the field of accounting though I did B.Com with Executive MBA. People around me often demoralise for pursuing CA studies at this age. Story shared by you would inspire me to chase my dream of getting professional qualification. Thank you so much and let's keep in touch.
