What about the Input Tax paid on purchases, before opting for Composition?

there were some purchases of about 1.20 Lacs which were made by the dealer when he was a Casual Dealer., in Aug-17.
Now, the dealer is under Composition since Oct-17.
What will happen to the Input Tax paid in Aug-17 ?
