we are dealing textbook and selling to various customers and individuals.we have a paper purchase from local parties and also Interstate parties. Is there any problem for taking purchase input tax for monthly return purpose.!

No issue in taking credits provided that text books are taxable

it's exempted. but one of a consultant told me that if u r dealing non taxable item. so u can't take input tax of purchase.
