whether input tax credit can be claimed on repair & maintenance?

dear sowma first of all u hve to see what serices comes under ur vat registration number

Like if you hve registration of selling car then u claim input of vat paid on purchase of car

vat paid on printing, stationery, are ur indirect expenses u cant claim on vat

Hi Sowmya,

Please mention the State name in which you are accounting..

In General, input tax paid on expenses can not be considered as Input tax credit.
