Input service provider is a person who pays bills on behalf of the subordinate companies. They can distribute the ST so paid but cannot utilise themselves unless output service is provided.;

Not sub ordinate companies but a multi locational company which avails services in various locations / divisions. The ISD would register and funnel all the credit and then distribute to all of them.
