We have paid consultancy charges for Chartered Accountant . The Consultancy charges was related to due diligence for equity investment . The Chartered accountant has charged Servcie tax . Can we claim Input cenvat on Consultancy charges

Please refer to general Rule 2(l) of the CENVAT Credit Rules, 2004, that specifies for definition of “input service”, which does not put any bar / condition for such services.
