One of my client has paid service tax on listing fees to BSE.So whether the input credit can be availed or not for the same.

It is better not to take credit in such cases. It might be a source of litigation in future. Department does not like such credits to be avaied and utilised. If you can really justify that input service is used for proviidng taxable output services then you may take. It is advisable not to be aggressive though indirect nexus between input and output service is also eligible for credit.
