We are Paying Service tax under Composite Scheme of Work Contract and Taking input credit on Input Services we are Also Purchasing Some Material on which Excise Duty is Chrged by Supplier.
Can we Take Input Credit on Excise Duty Paid

Of course, vide Rule 3(1) of the Cenvat Credit Rules, 2004; provided they are used for provision of service.

Dear Mr. Vikash,
Our Service tax Conslutant told us that in Case of Composite Scheme You Can Take Input Credit on only Input Services, I Want More Clearification becuse i have also read in the Books that Service tax and Excise are Interadjustable.
