My Company Got a Work Contract In NTPC, we purchase Roofing Steel Sheet from Supplier who Charged 12.36% Excise Duty. We Pay Service Tax to Government, i just Want to Know that Can I Take Input Credit of Excise Duty From Service Tax

In case you have opted to pay Service Tax for works contract @ composition scheme, then you won't be able to claim CENVAT credit of duty paid on INPUTS used for providing works contract service.
Only duty paid for Inout services and capital goods can be claimed as Cenvat credit agst WC service.
