Input claim on cab hire charges

Hello,
our organization hired a cab service for the transportation of employees shall we claim input on those services paid. ??

Such kind of ITC can only be claimed if vehicle sitting capacity is more than 13 persons or if your company is doing same kind of business.

No you can not claim Input Tax credit , it's Blocked credit under section 17(5)(b)(I) of the CGST act 2017 .

Cab service blocked credit.
Input can't be claimed.
Hope this gets nullified.

No, you cannot claim ITC against Uber Ola rides.

Hi Kumar

ITC cannot be availed as per Clause (iv) of Section 17(5). However, the ITC can be availed if said services are provided under any statutory obligation.
