I got this mail from it Department. 
Communication of proposed Adjustment u/s143(1)(a) 
What I hav to do, what are the consequences??

They are comparing form 16 and itr and proposing addition of income.. If any one want to see that communication, plz giv ur mail.. I wil send it

Nothing to worry much about on this. If they have shown additional tax liability with a reason. Just paying it should take care of it.

can we show more deductions in ITR which are not cliamed in form 16

Yes you can, provided that you have the proper proofs. Also in case of allowance like HRA etc, you should have to not only the proofs, but the employer should have provided you the same in your Salary structure.

One need to worry! Otherwise it will be adjusted automatically and hence will add additional income thereby making refund 0INR.
SEE BELOW NOTE FROM IT:
"In case, no response is received within 30 days (thirty days) of issue of this intimation, the return of income will be processed after making
necessary adjustment(s) u/s 143(1)(a) of Income Tax Act, 1961 without providing any further opportunities in this matter"

 

@ KiranKanth -> You need to log in to the IT Department website and go to the tab E-Proceedings > E-Assessment/Proceedings Select 'Submit' on the next screen and follow the next steps.

Hi,

I also received the same notice and while checing in E-Proceedings > E-Assessment/Proceedings section, I found message of 'No recrods found'. I called to Call center no. 18001034455 mentioned in the communnication and they told that ignore this communication for now and they will send the revised communication further.
I also noted down the complain no. while call. 

I request you to check E-Procesdings and call to Call Center if that is the case for you.
 

Hi everyone, i also got the intimation under 143(1)(a) for proposed adjustment and the notice says proceed to e proceedings showing no records found.... as far as i am interpreting the reason for the notice is deduction under 80 C that i have claimed differs with Form 16 issuedby the emloyer because on 29 march 17 i made an addition 5 year tax saved FD which obviously was not shown in the form 16. when i filled the ITR 1 it shows a refund but due to this notice i dont think i would get refund temporarily.. threre would be innumerable number of itr 1 where amount Of 80 C would difer in almost aevery return due to last moment savings made by individuals Now please assist me what should i do now And also the income tax site is also not working now...
