Normally it is a pre notion or wrong myth in vogue, that if we work in a BPO comany ,the knowledge base will not widen and the candidate will not be updated about the current economic and tax related areas.........if we are confident along with the BPO we can add knowledge and updated about the developments it will be good to join BPO as it will provide the good platform for interaction with profeesionals across the globe and have exposure on an internaional level if ur are choosing a good BPO company.
So in my view if it a good company giving u a good exposure in international level.....then its well and good .

Hi Varun,
I am some how agree with Madhvan but not fully. It correct to state that we will be interacting globally, but what I have worked and found is that you will become master in XL and little bit lasy also beacuse of not much work. My observation was that in BPO, learning will be less as compared to our indian industry. Here we work in many areas but in BPO you will be given only one activity like Intangible assets or any other thing. It will continue for two - three years.
but one good thing that I noticed is that in some BPO, training provided is very good for communication and leadership.
It is only my personal view, I am not confilicting other persons view. Varun final call is your and you have to take decision.
