Research Interns: The World Bank (CA Articleship)

The World Bank Requires Research Interns for the South Asia Financial Management Team Under Industrial Training program of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The assignment will be for a period of 12 months beginning in or around July/August 2010 under the Industrial Training Program of the ICAI.

Responsibilities: Undertaking research, writing reports involving analysis and evaluation of data, and formulation of conclusions. Further, supporting the World Bank teams on financial management aspects of India’s portfolio, including monitoring, supervision and reporting issues.

Eligibility: CA students who have passed both groups of IPCC /PE-II Examinations and is in the final year of CA article-ship on the joining date. Regulations of ICAI in respect of industrial Training will apply. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an interest on developmental issues along computer proficiency and/or data analysis are required, complemented by effective written, spoken communication skills.

Preference will be given to students having obtained merit in IPCC / PE-II Examination.
