for individual income upto 250000₹ is exempted income...

super SR. citizen- 500000
SR.citizen - 300000
other individuals- 250000

Its 250000/- & for senior citizen limit is Rs.300000.

If your income is below Rs.350000/- you can also claim rebate of Rs.2500/-
