My dad had invested Rs 50,000 in Indira Vikas Patra back in 1980. He had forgotten about it and he found the document earlier this week while going through some old stuff..
He is excited but Now, we are trying to figure out the following.. any help would be appreciated
1) How is the interest calculated ?
2) Is the maturity amount tax exempted. (My dad is a senior citizen and has no income.)
3) How do we withdraw the matured amount (which is now almost 33 years)
