"Indian CAs have emerged as complete business solution providers and are recognized globally. They can specialize in fields like taxation, information system audit, forensic accounting, fraud detection, etc," Agarwal said during ICAI's convocation.

The institute plans to inaugurate a centre of excellence to train CAs and students in the Bangalore-Mangalore stretch. K Raghu, central committee member of ICAI, said: "A webcasting 24-hour channel was launched recently to help members update their skills. We have also started e-learning courses."
