Dear Mini,
according to me,
like other companies, but plz check that this investment company does not hit the provision of an investment company which come under NBFC.
like
(1) More than 90% of its total assetsshares/securities holding of its group/subsi/holding co.
(2) does not trade in such shares/securities
(3) which does not accept any public deposit

Sir,
other than the Companies Act whether an Investment co.has to comply with theprocedures of SCRA as well as can the co. be registered otherwise an NBFC

Dear Mini,
I think SCRA applicable on listed companies.
its depend on ROC if roc say that u have to registered with RBI as NBFC then u go for rbi.
