Can a person having only salaried income opt new tax regime while filling updated ITR 139(8A) if original return was filed under 139(1) with old regime AY 2022-23

As the time limit for filing the ITR IS over now you can not file under desired regime

Sec 139 (8A) is applicable for updated return. UPTO THE END OF RELEVANT ASSESMENT YEAR.
