Now you can log in to Income Tax portal without date of birth / incorporation

also you can open acknowledgement without password.

Just today morning they asked for RSA token number for logging in which is combination of numerical digits in PAN with DOB in ddmmyy format.

Now they have made it just with PAN and password.

But I am having trouble getting 26AS as the traces captcha code is not beeing seen :(

Yes, you are right, most of the time either it is missing; or appearing very late........

Even link from efilling site or netbanking is not properly functioning.....

sir, but problem is that , even IT helpdesk is unware of this!!! So confused for how long it last

Yes, Correct........This time it is big headache for all (even for department) ..... Utilities were not ready, somehow repaired last years' utilities which are hanging up in-between..... most of the time difficult to upload XML files...

TRACES not able to handle TDS returns filed......... Most of deductors not able to download form 16/A, while it is to be served before 15th June !!!

Situation not very different than last year's GST software crash........

and still we use foreign vendors to maintain webportal's.
And dept also not accepting any excuse from us for delay/misreporting in filling returns.
Just because of automation of mahagst.gov.com portal my client faced 45000 (5k per retun for 9 months) as fees for delayed filling of vat return
